Do an experiment where you test various public restrooms for the amount of bacteria that they contain. I had a student who did this last year and he won first in our state science fair. He chose 3 bathrooms of 3 different restaurants and tried to see if the price of food was in direct correlation with the cleanliness of bathrooms. It was very awesome, and he learned a lot! Oh, but make sure you use gloves and cotton swabs, all those safety things of course! Good luck!
