Ok, so do all north american girls automatically presume I'm hot because I've an Irish accent, (not the lucky charms "oirish" one, a real one), and cos I've got the tall dark and ruggedly handsome irish thing going on? Or is it because I'm a lawyer?? Or is it both? I have to be honest, American girls are so much more affable to Irish guys than Irish girls are!!!

Its the accent, the looks, and the job, in that order. We American women are sick to death of American men because they are jerks. So if you have an accent, maybe youre not a jerk, in our minds. Also a lot of men here have really lame jobs, in addition to being jerks. I guess we just fantasize about someone from somewhere else taking us away from all this.

That's because the Irish girls know what a conceited moron you can be when they know your a liar; rumor has it that you get your kicks sniffing bicycle seats & kissing mirrors! But above all it's your modesty that makes the north American girls curious, could you possibly have something else besides a brain that would make that accent come from down under? Most people like accents that they don't get to hear all the time, so while your Irish accent is normal to Irish girls, it's exotic to American girls.
And are you serious? You're describing yourself as "ruggedly handsome" and you're asking if girls presume you're hot because of it. "Ruggedly handsome" and "hot" are synonyms. They mean the same thing. So you're telling people you're hot and asking why they presume you're hot. They're just presuming you're not lying.

You must have one fabulous and patient girl to put up with you and your ego! While the law degree can be appealing and the tall dark and "ruggedly" handsome thing is nice... It really comes down to personality. Maybe N.American girls have lower standards?! Or maybe you are just remarkably charming! Either way, the accent always does it for me! xx

Well I'll admit I'm an accent whore...love accents. Irish, British, Aussie and Scot are the best. And of course good looks sweetens the deal. Ok but a lawyer...that would get negative marks from me (joking). A good job makes you a complete package. :-)

Becasue your a push over...you probably wine and dine these beezy's before your hit.You probably dont expect nothing from these women which is rare and women like that. Most american men really dont do this. and Dont get one pregnant or she will own you for 18 years.
