there a way to shorten the number of rings on the printer? so it picks up earlier? The model is 5100c Thanks

I have an HP that works exactly the same way. For my HP I have to install the drivers that came with the printer. During the print drivers setup it asks if there is voicemail on the line and how many rings it should wait before picking up with fax tone.

In the manual for the 5100c it actually talks about changing the number of rings before picking up on page 5-2. I have also included the link to download the manual in pdf and the page number in the pdf doc is 58.
