I'm confused. Are you for or against gay marriage?
I support it 100%
As for the whole "the bible says its wrong" jazz: ***** the bible!

I think the line that clears this up pretty well came out in Men In Black:
Kay: A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it.
As someone else said, fear is the main thing stopping this from happening. Period. Same reason there was segregation. Fear breeds ignorance. We have groups preaching mass panic of what will happen IF they're allowed to marry, along with a president who pushes it as well. If we can learn to move beyond this....well, let's not tease ourselves.

They're trying. Their latest attempt is to take away court compensatiion fees with the so-called Public Expression of Religion Act (PERA), which would single out Establishment Clause cases as an exception to the rule which currently allows awards of fees and costs to winners in actions to enforce the U.S. Constitution. Basically, only if win a case against the first amendment will you get compensated.
It's just another attempt to get rid of the separation of church and state.

Personally I don't think that the Government is making bigotry a part of our constitution they are doing the will of the people of united states. The great percentage of the people don't want same sex marriages.Don't know why you want to put racial and same sex marriages together they are not the same.If a person wants to live have sex with the same sex it is there business but I don't want to see it or have to pay for it some where down down we will have to foot the bill.If the Homos want to get marriage I am sure there is a another country that they can live in this country is not quite ready, maybe in the next 50 years maybe.

I think that Kang and Kronos (the aliens on the Simpsons) had the right approach to hot-topic political (non)issues
"Abortions for some, and tiny American flags for everyone else"
If you're not for gay marriage, simply don't marry someone of the same sex. What does it say about your relationship if its value is *tarnished* by what another loving couple does to express THEIR love?

who cares what Gay's do?? I mean really? let them get married.
Who Cares??
Why does every religious person have to tell others what to do how to live their life. Stay busy with your own life and you won't have so much time to worry about what other people are doing.
The world is blowing up, 2 steps from a nuclear holocost and your worried if your neighbor is scoping action from a guy??
You say your relationship is between you and god?
Then why are you so worried what everyone else is doing?

I wonder what it is they think is going to happen if two (same sex) people who love each other and want to commit their lives to each other get married? It cannot possibly devalue marriage any more than celebrities and springer guests already have. I say, let them suffer along with the rest of us. Marry them all they want.

Move to Canada or get married here - it's been legal for a couple of years now. And believe it or not? No death and destruction at that hands of some vengeful god. Just peace and harmony in the land!

I'm curious (nervous?) about what bigots will do once being anti-gay is completely out of style. Who will be the next target? Transgendered people? Immigrants?

First of all IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THE BIBLE IS AGAINST IT!
(Not yelling, making emphasis)
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"
First ammendment
