I have my number blocked. Is that good enough?

I see a lot of people on Youtube doing prank calls using a cell phone. Is there a particular reason people use cell phones for prank calls? I'm just getting started in this so any advice would be appreciated.

BTW, the reason I want to make prank calls is to get back at some people. I wouldn't do it to innocent people just for fun.

If you don't mind spending money, I guess a pay phone?

Or you could go to a friend's house and sneak off to use their phone without them knowing. lol.

Sorry, that's all I got.

A prank in fun like a suprise or a good way, but not to disturb people for fun. thats sick and you need to get a real good work out if you catch my drift then maybe you won't be so idiotic and simple Every call made is recorded every one get with it You will be caught So go get a Ilife Do a nice thing not a stupid *** thing like a prank Grow up . And you wouldn't like it done to you or anyone you cared about so give it up or you can get locked up instead then wait till

*69 should get back even if caller id doesn't show number. If not, call trace (*57) will ALWAYS report the source of annoying calls to your phone company who passes it along to the police.

Call blocking only prevents a number from calling you - it does not hide your number.

Cell phones do the same thing but some people think if there isn't a phone book with their cell phone number in it they are invisible.

If the victim of the prank call tells the police he thinks some terrorist called to make a threat it becomes a big deal that is sure to get serious police attention.

reverse phone number search compiles hundreds of millions of phone book records to help locate the owner's name, location, time zone, email and other public information.

Use a reverse phone lookup to:
Get the identity of an unknown caller.
Identify an area code.
Recall the name of a person whose number you wrote down.
Identify an unfamiliar phone number that shows up on your bill.

Don't prank call people. Dial the wrong persons number, and you'll have a nice confrontation with the police.
Believe me. My friend knows.

The reason its better to do it on cell phones is because the police cannot pin point the location of a cell phone... but they can pin point the location of your house if they go around the number block. On cell phones, they can only have your name (if you own the phone), but there is no way to trace it to your exact location at that exact moment.

.... and prank calls are lame.

Well, make sure the caller doesn't have caller ID, and make sure you block your side of the line too. And make sure its not traced too- I heard that Bush was tarcing calls now to see who was being the spy terrorist in America.

I agree with the others, I think you need to grow up. Prank calling is stupid and irresponsible. You could get in big trouble with the police as under the right circumstances, prank calling could be considered harassment.
