This lady needs teeth extracted and was told medicare would reinbruse her after paying for the extractions. Could I get some info. on this subject. Thankk you.

Call Medicare & confirm that they will reimburse her. Make sure she is using a dentist that is 'in network' & takes Medicare. They should file the claim, and the reimbursment should be sent to her. If not ask Medicare what info she needs to file the claim herself. Then be sure you get all of that information from the dental office & send it in.

Best place to get the correction information is from Medicare. Look it up on yahoo phone and either get a local number or the toll free national number.

Medicare has to pre-approve the procedure!!!! And they should pay the doctor/dentist directly.

medicare is not going to reimburse her for dental work...not even the 80% they pay the doctors or hospital..look for a dental school. don't be afraid- they are in their final year and only the best students get the experience of working on humans. it will be the cheapest route. good luck

It doesn;t seem right that she would pay for it and then get reimbursed. Seems medicare should be paying.

They might. It depends on her plan. If it's one that my company adminsters for, I can let you know. What plan does she have and what state?
