Hindus and buddhists are non-violent. There is something as threatening as Islamic fundamentalists : the gun culture.
Considering that guns are specifically designed to maim and kill,
people who spend time promoting and defending gun ownership
are really promoting conflict resolution through guns.
The Muslims do the same thing, but they use bombs instead. The thought process is very similar between these two groups. The Muslims say that is is in the name of Allah and the NRA says it is in the name of God and country.

We have freedom of religion in this country and you are free to believe anything you want. Only a control freak tells others what to believe and kills them if they don't convert.
Our society has to be protected from people who force their religon onto others. who use force or threats or put downs of others beliefs. Those are the dangerous people.
Those are the ones society has to be protected from.
Become open minded of new ideas, that is why we are the inventors. Innovators. Creative thinkers. We allow for variety of thought.

I don't really know much about Hindu or Buddism but I believe they are big on pacifism. I think society could use more of this philosophy and less Jihad and Crusade.

I haven't heard of any blowing things up lately. In fact, I think that I heard about Muslims killing them too. Oh well, if we can't accept the real demon, we have to make up our own.
