for catfish, I use a product called Hog Wild catfish bait. its a paste. You put it on the treble hook with a stick. if You ever get any on You, be prepared to be alone for a few day's. they also have a chum that I like to put out the night before.
for Carp, I make dough ball's with, Total cereal. I know it sound's simple but, it work's. this is what they use at the marina here for their Carp tournament's.

there are countless commercially arranged catfish and carp baits that artwork particularly properly. generally, the stinkier the better, as catfish and carp feed via scent. yet, I even have chanced on that the main suitable baits are those you're making your self. For a sturdy domicile made catfish bait, try chicken livers. I take some pound of chicken livers, place them in a plastic field with a conceal, and set them outdoors (no longer in direct solar) to "treatment" for an afternoon or 2. you decide on the beef to wreck, yet no longer dry out. shop it moist. as quickly because it smells particularly "undesirable", chop up some garlic cloves, blend them in with the livers, and refrigerate them a minimum of two-3 days till now employing them as bait. All this odoriferous concoction would desire to be (generally) impossible to stand as much as to catfish.

Find a dog or cat dead in the road (the more recent the better). Scoop it up. Put it in a Hefty bag and burry it in the ground for 5-7 days. Dig it up and tie a rock to it with a small rope. Toss it in your favorite fishin hole and use your favorite bait! You'll have catfish comin' from miles around! It works every time.

As far as carp look up a website at www.carp.net and look for recipes for "boilies". I don't fish for carp but I saw a reference to this site in one of my fishing magazines. For catfish I prefer to use stink-bait. HogWild is my brand of choice. If you don't know how to fish a stink bait rig let me know , I will tell you.

Flour, little water mix then add a packet of jello, mix all together, refrigerate. I get some treble hooks ,roll the mix into little balls, put hooks into balls, put in freezer overnight put on your line prior to fishing.
