I am a boy, 13 years old, and i have a crush on Shippo from the anime series inuyasha. I just have a crush on him, and im a boy. Am i gay? I like girls, and that is the only boy i like, and he is fictional.

Hmm, maybe it's just you want to be like him, cause he does cool moves in the show, maybe it's more like idolizing him rather than a crush. I wouldn't worry too much:)

You are only 13, don't be in a rush to define it. I knew I was different when I was in second grade. When I was 12, I strated to be attracted to a few guy friend, but will still trying to date girls. So I didn't think about if I was gay or note. At about 15 or 16 when my hormones really hit, that's when I knew I was gay. This obviously doesn't mean you are the same as me or that you are even at all gay.
It was scary, because I was very religious in a very Catholic family. I struggled with my sexuality for years and tried to not be gay, until I realized that it wasn't wrong or against God. Somehow I discovered or was reminded that God makes us in his image, and God loves love. If something is truly and honestly love, then I believe it pleases God.
If you discover in time that you really do like men and it scares you or you need someone to talk to, you can always annonymously email me if you need to talk to someone or if you just need someone to listen.

Don't think about it. It's a character, who cares? If you find yourself getting a crush on a boy that's not fictional, THEN maybe you're gay. Probably bisexual?

I would say NO. You may be enamored with his character or the strength of that character. I love black panthers, but it doesn't mean I want to hook up with one or marry one. Maybe you are just admiring someone/something that intrigues you.
And IF you think you're gay, so what? You'll find out soon enough, and you can deal with it then.

I don't think this is as farfetched and different as you or other people may think. I don't think it means you're gay, maybe bisexual, but in my opinon, just openminded and well...just open. Your mind is not closed to the options of the masses. I think it will eventually be up to you as to what path you choose, or what options you leave open.

Its a little to early to know that for sure. You could be bi. Or you may have a fetish for cartoon characters. Ask yourself this question- who would you rather do...all three power puff girls at the same time, or GI Joe--- that might help you sort it out.
