I love my mom so much but she doesn't approve of this guy that I've been dating for over a year now. We're supposed to be getting engaged but I can't do that if I don't have her support. We're always fighting about it and I don't want to lose my relationship with my mom over a guy but I really love him. We have all of these plans together and yes, he's screwed up but everyone screws up and he ALWAYS makes it right but it seems like she's holding a grudge against him. It's to the point now where I want to move out in the next 5 months so that I don't lose the one person who is always there for me and I know cares about me not because he HAS to but because he WANTS to. I know that we're meant to be together, our relationship is perfect and it's getting better and better but it hurts so bad that I cant get my mom to support it and enjoy this happiness with me. Has anyone been through this? How can I get them to get along? What should I do?

Parents need to know when to let go of their kids. Your mother cares about you but you can't put your life on hold for her. There's nothing that says if you break up with this guy that she will approve of the next one. Sit down with her and tell her how you feel about the whole situation.

Blood is thicker than water. You only have one mother. Think about who will really be there for you even when he's not. No relationship is perfect because we as humans are not perfect. Just something to think about.

a million - placed on the aero outfits to make ur mom chuffed, then even as u get to college develop into ur sk8ter outfits. tht way ur moms chuffed and u can carry out with ur crew of pals. tell ur pals what ur doing so even as u sneek to the bathroom, they wont imagine ur doing drugs or something. and in the experience that they offer u difficulty ( i no evryone says this ) then there not actual pals. # 2 - educate ur mom what a sturdy youngster u are. educate her ur skills even as skating. um... educate her the sturdy issues about donning black outfits and tht ur jst expressing urself. # 3 - tell ur mom to provide up nagging u bout it in a valuable way so she doesnt educate on u correct then and there. tell her tht u dnt favor her to waste her funds on buying u outfits u wont placed on. # 4 - attempt to grunge down slightly for ur mom. evn bypass a week without donning black outfits jst to demonstrate her it doesnt count number what u placed on its bout the guy interior. # 5 - deliver ur aero outfits to salvation military and tell ur mom tht ur in a application tht facilitates human beings. ( than she'll no ur a sturdy youngster ) lol nicely..........desire this facilitates. probable wont yet a minimum of i trieddd

Ignore your mom its your relationship not hers. She should just stay out of it. She is not the one dating him now is she?? Tell her to back off.

ask your mom why she don't like your guy.. maybe there some reason.. and talk to your mom nicely avoid fighting w/ her.. sometimes parents dont understand some situation.. so talk to her and ask her why she dont like your bf.. and prove to her that you love each other.. and also pray to God hoping that someday your mom understand your relationship..
