Yes. I believe that there is a creating, sustaining, living force, being, spirit, _____ (fill in the blank) in the Universe that defies any description that we or anyone past, present, or future could ever possibly ascribe to it.
It's this "Knowing that I don't know" that allows me to accept what is good and true in all religions without being bound to any one religion.
P.S. I do call myself Buddhist. I understand Buddhism to be a philosophy, a way of life, not so much a religion.

No, not really.
If there is a "God", he certainly doesn't care about most people, or he lacks the omniscience and omnipotence humans like to attribute to him. Look in your local paper, it won't take you long to find some perfectly innocent person to whom something dreadful has happened that "God" could surely have prevented, or some truly worthless being to whom something wonderful has occurred.

i strongly believe in God! some of my actions may contradict with that statement but i always pray that i will be a good obedient servant to Him.
