Either all of them were not destroyed (Jewish tradition mentions at least one of them being saved by Noah) or there was also a later influx of these unauthorized, and very troublesome creatures.
The fact that they had no right to be there, and were hindering the progress of God's chosen people, is one of the reasons that God could quite properly order the Israelites to utterly destroy them, and all traces of them, without mercy.
Goliath and his four brothers were also likely descendants of this very hard to wipe out group.
Some experts even suspect that Israel's first king, King Saul, may have had some "nephelim" blood in him.
It's also quite possible that the forecast tribulations of the end times may also be a result of a new and future influx of these "little satans".

It was a figure of speech.
The spies were familiar about the Nephilim in the Genesis account, They use the name to describe these ones, We are like grasshoppers. the 10 spies gave a bad report.
Just two gave a favorable report.
Read The whole report Numbers 13: verses 1-33.
Their story was blown up because they did not put trust in the Creator who was beside them at all times against these pagans living in the land The Israelites were to inherit.

The Nephlim that were destroyed in the flood were not really humans. They were disobedient angels who took human form to live with humans.God decreed that they would be destroyed for their wickedness.
The Nephilim referred to in Numbers were not the same as then. Perhaps they were just giants, like Goliath. Unfortunately, your question is taken out of context. The account in Numbers 13:33 is when Moses sent spies into the land of Ca'naan. The spies were afraid of the strong people they saw in the Promised Land and lied to Moses about what they saw. Numbers 14:35-37"I Jehovah have spoken if this is not what I shall do to all this evil assembly, those who have gathered against me. In this wilderness they will come to their end,and they will die. And the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land and who, when they returned, began making the whole assembly murmur against him, by bringing forth a bad report against the land, yes, the men bringing forth the bad report will die by the scourge before Jehovah."
Whether or not these men saw giants, they did lie about what the saw,and accordingly, were punished.

You have to remember, the people who wrote the Bible were player haters, these Nephilim they speak of were just people who had better things then the people who wrote the bible. The people who wrote the stories in the bible were nomads and slaves, the people in the cities had better things in more technology then the nomads. So of course they thought that they were of some higher beings. There was a flood that wiped out a lot of cities back in the day because most of them were built during the ice age, when the ice age was over the oceans rose to cover these cities. Of course as long as there are people around they will build more cities and more nomads will think that they are something that they are not.

like the rest, they proved to be evil. and that they refused to get on the ark and be stored. not all who lived then have been unfavorable. they only did not have faith Noah, a preacher of righteousness. they did not get on the ark and stay. 2 Peter 2:4, Jude 6, 7 point out those ones leaving heaven to do issues not setting up sexually. devil sinned first in Eden. Ezekiel 28:13-19, John 8:40 4...then the a million/3 of the angels in Noah's day have been deceived by ability of him. while Jesus went back to heaven, it became one nevertheless crammed with wicked demons as he became "waiting for his enemies to be placed as a stool for his feet". that's devil and his demons forged to earth and constrained there for mischief. Revelation 12, Psalms a hundred and ten. think of the NT verse may be Hebrews a million. won't be in a position to bear in ideas offhand. Their earthly confinement is the reason at the back of the severe violence and problems with the final days/end time of his earthwide rule. Rev. 6:9-11, 12:17. particular. They bear merely approximately comparable resemblance to the classic pagan gods who took women persons of human beings. The Bible mentions that the religions of the international locations sacrifice to demons not god. a million Cor. 10:20-22. See additionally 2 Cor. 6:14-18. So that's maximum probable that the non Moses/non Jesus religions observed those ideals. in addition they carry the legends of the flood, the autumn from grace (Adam/Eve/Eden) and the hot earth (golden age with a instructor fixing each and everything and resurrection back to a sparkling earth). Some of them could catch whales and water ski. They met up in a gang on the 10th day of the flood and attacked Noah's Ark and hacked away the section with the dinosaurs on it. Then they caught some of the floating dinosaurs and made a barbeque (while watersking and being pulled by whales). This explains why there are no more dinosaurs and also why God stopped making stuff from ribs.

Your observation lends credence to the theologians who say that the Nephilim were created when fallen angels somehow took human women for wives and had abnormally large children.
Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Sons of God is used of angels in other passages.
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
And then you have this New Testament passage to consider.
Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
