Just wondering why you're seeing a Psychologist and maybe not a Psychiatrist...I mean more so unstable people see PSYCHOhologists it's in the name...I would consider getting a more specialized person for learning disabilities depending on what is ailing you?

Learning Disabilities simply mean that it takes you longer to learn something, or you might need information presented in a different way. I don't think a psychologist can help with this. If you are still in school, take this diagnosis to your Special Ed department. If you are older, colleges do modify content if you have records saying that there is a Specific Learning Disability. Also, there are community education programs that help individuals with Learning Disabilities. Also, please don't think that because you are Learning Disabled doesn't mean your not gifted in other areas of your life....

i do not think you need a psychologist for a learning disability. just study harder. i know people who need extra teaching one on one and there is nothing wrong with that. good luck to you.

If they specialize in alternative learning than they're probably worth it, otherwise about as much help as a bartender but with less sense.
