You're very right. The gov't has no business running anybody's life. There should clearly be a distinction or separation between state and religion. Abortion has always been an issue. The woman should be entitled to make decisions regarding her body. There will always be two sides to this coin. But as it is now, there are legislations against it and even against same sex marriages. Moral issues shouldn't be resolved by the gov't. except when they harm the general good.

Not hardly God. even though I have a facet of God inside of me.
during the 1960's the worry was about overpopulation and we and the rest of the world was supposed to limit the number of children we had. then the government legalized abortion as a result which raised the ire of the fundamentalist religions to revoke it and go back to having a lot of children so the church could have more money coming in from the drop off in population.
The choice to have or not have children or to carry an unwanted child is your choice.
Having legal doctor assisted Early termination is quite a bit safer than the old do it yourself methods that lead to many deaths . If the fundamentalists find out about that the would be saying you had committed suicide. can't win

WTF are you babbling about? Of course it's right for the gov't to look through your medical records. How else would they know who to exterminate? And then you go off on that rant about abortion, get a grip! God is not the only one who judges, just have a look around you at the thousands of judges who sit in judgement of people who have to be judged every day. Municipal judges, county judges, state judges, federal judges, and let's not forget that whacko judge with the penis pump who judged that his pecker was too tiny, or the millions of fartknocker liberals who all think they're judges. Did you have a question? Take a valium.

I applaud you for being both churchy and pro choice. I've always maintained that the two are not mutually exclusive. The issue isn't about whether abortion is right or wrong, because it is such a private and traumatic decision. The real issue is who is going to get to make that decision.

I agree with you that someone's medical records is confidential.
The related doctor can not give it to others without your permission.Maybe it depends on laws and regulations only for criminal act your medical report can be given to a legal investigator.
I am also against with abortion.Abortion without a valid judgement from a doctor,is the same with murdering.Murdering or killing is against with religion teaching and it is regarded as a criminal act too.

Of course they should'nt, but they do. As horrible as it is they still invade our privacy! And its only getting worse by the minute...really. I belive it is a sing of the times...the 666 is watching your every move, the money you spend, what you buy where you buy and when you buy. When you cash your paycheck, where you cash it, the amount of time you spend on the internet, every move...Controll is'nt over it will get worst. And judgement day is coming fast right behind it!

The only people who have the right to look through your medical records are your doctor and your insurance company. Anyone else who tries to do it is violating your right to confidentiality AND your right to privacy.

No, I'm not, and I agree with your stance. I don't "support" abortion, but this isn't the government's decision.
As for Doctor/Client confidenciality, I'm not sure how far that extends.
