Well, you may be able to find some obscure and offshore medical school that will not require it. Some of the offshore ones require not much more than the tuition.

But if you intend to become a good doctor, it will be good practice. The intensity and complexity of study you will need for calculus are but a faint whisper of what you will encounter in medical school. Put on your helmet, strap yourself in and be prepared to go from zero to 200 mph in seconds, is what all of med school feels like.

If you can't do calculus, you most likely won't be able to complete medical school.

No. Most if not all medical schools require calculus, the ones that don't would probably be the Carribean ones. Also if you major in a science like bio you will have to take it.

But don't worry. Usually there are placement tests so if you really aren't ready for calculus, you can take precalculus first. And you can always go to the professor's office hours for extra help, or even find a math major to tutor you.

No. Most physicians are pre-med, biology, or chemistry majors as undergrads. All major colleges and universities require science majors to take at least Calculus 1.
