when I considered my primary practitioner, I relatively advised him i did no longer choose to take drugs that would reason weight benefit because it had contained in the previous. almost each and everything i've got tried has brought about everywhere from 20-40 extra pounds, then i'm extra depressed. He prescribed Lexapro and it worked wonders (regrettably i'm bipolar and he added rispadal to maintain me from a manic episode, it reasons weight benefit), Lexapro does no longer have the burden gaining consequences like another meds. sturdy success

I have been on Lexapro to increase my seratonin (feel good hormone) for about 6 months. I absolutely think it is the best medicine ever developed. My best friend takes it and several co-workers are on it. We are all very happy!!! I was prescribed 10mg/day but I only take 1/2 pill 5mg per day. 10mg made me sleepy. Your weight will affect how much you need to take.
No we have not lost weight on it. It really doesn't change my appetite at all and they have not mentioned it changed their appetite.
I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with stress of any kind.

I took it... It did absolutely nothing. It didn't help the depression and had no affect on my weight. Maybe if it was a placebo it might have had more of an effect. I have found natural and drug free ways to cure depression and control your weight if you're interested in a little hard work.

No I wouldn't take any of that crap. If you want to lose weight, cut out the junk food and exercise!! Everyone always looks for the lazy way out.
