bc you think you love someone and they love you back and you feel special and safe with them. and you ar soooooooo atracted to them that you thikn nothing could ever go wrong and you hope nothing could go wrong. you wish that dreams and fairytales could come tru so prince charming can carry you away. you devote all your time into one person thinking they will do the same the same with you. then you find out that it was all like a big dream and when you wake up you want it back so much you will do anything to get it! but then you realize that that person never really loved you and that they only loved themself. it hurts bc we want to be loved and cared for. and we put all are love and hope and energy into a relationship. it hurts but the pain is only temperary and the love that we have to give is not! :)

when you get into a situation you need to ask how the other person feels about you, not just assume stuff. Therefore right from the start you'll know where you stand. If you wait too long, get mixed messages, or get messages you interpret (without asking what they are doing and why), then you will go on believing they had feelings for you when they didn't. The hurt is something everyone goes thru at one time or another, and it's because you're mad at yourself cause you were a chump and didn't see it coming. Get over it by finding someone else to go out with.

It hurts because we take it personally. But really all things happen for a reason - it could have nothing to do with you - but it still hurts and we feel rejected. You will have a lot of crash and burns, but when you finally do find the right one it WILL be worth it. I know it hurts now, but you need to keep your head up. There is a reason that the relationship didn't work out, and no matter what it was you will move on.

That's a question for the ages. I guess when a great love is taken away, it just takes something with it. There's really nothing you can do, but try to move on and look at your options. You never know if the next "the One" is right around the corner.

Aren't we being a little melodramatic here??? It is because you choose people who are wrong for you. Start making better decisions for the right reasons and set some personal boundaries.
