What does that mean let God find me? If God had found me, I wouldn't need to ask this question. Maybe sometimes people don't have some great vision. So does just mean I'm an aetheist or does that mean I look around myself and figure out what I can believe in. I just don't understand that comment, and I've heard it before. PLEASE explain

Still not making since. Your not getting it. I've been floating around 34 years questioning the role of religion in my life. I don't see any "visions" happening. I want to believe in something, but I don't know what. So I don't understand these wait for the lightning bolt to strike answers I'm getting. What if there isn't a lightning bolt. And don't fool yourself, everyone religion shops in their own way. Most religious people just take the card their parents dealth them and give it no serious thought. Then they lead their lives the way they want and sin and think they can just go to church on Sunday and wipe the naughty list clean. I think thats BS. We all religion shop.

We do use the hot international Translation by and vast, yet you may study the reality of the bible from any bible. There are countless translations of the bible and we are able to apply any bible someone needs to apply. you would possibly want to prefer to look up "reality in Translation" by employing Jason David BeDuhn. He supplies a independent opinion of countless diverse verses in question with countless diverse bibles. the numerous reason some "Christians" do not imagine we are "Christian" is because we do not sense that the trinity doctrine is taught contained in the bible. We trust that Jehovah is the Almighty God as playstation . 80 3: 18 brings out. more effective, that Jesus is his in basic terms begotten Son and the Messiah. The holy spirit is Jehovah's energetic stress that he makes use of to fulfill his will. We sense they are all 3 separate, not 3 contained in the only. it really is a few scriptures to think about: John 5: 15; John 6: 38; John 7:16; Col a million: 15, a million John 4:9; John 10: 30 & John 17: 21 & 22; John 14:28; Acts 7: fifty 5 & fifty six; Heb. eleven:17; John 17:3; Matt 3: 16 & 17; 2 Cor. 6:6; Luke eleven:20; Matt 24: 36-39 countless others Witnesses gave you different beliefs. There are 6.6 million witnesses global in 236 lands.

Religion isn't like clothes. You don't just try on the one that fits. Seek the truth. There is only one truth. Truth is not relative. How would you like to go your whole life believing a costly lie?

I only say this because I went through a whole bunch of religions trying to explain supernatural experiences i had. i had a lot of out of body experiences that my Christian Friends said was "demonic". I would literally wake up outside of my body! Yes, everyone thought I was crazy (and still do)!

Since the Christians shunned that sort of thing, I studied new age, Hindu, Buddha, transcendental meditation, and then Scientology. I read thousands of pages, did the auditing, did the work necessary to see if there was anything to any of these concepts.

Then when i really came to a very tough point in my life, I needed to know. And guess what - God came through!

I suggest you study Christian apologetics for a season.

By the way, supernatural experiences like out of body, translation, remote viewing, are all over the bible. Don't let the Christians get in the way of Jesus. One of the biggest obstacles to Christianity today are the Christians themselves.

Good luck!

God knows the questions you have about Him. If you are really sincere, and you seek Him with all your heart, He will be found by you. There are all kinds of religions and cults out there...and you could find one that looks like 'fun' and may offer you a life of supposed 'guilt'free' living... but if God is really real, we cannot choose to make Him what we want... We must accept Him as He is... a real God...who loves mankind, who sent His son to die for sinners... who is preparing a place in heaven for those who choose to believe in Him.
If you want to follow Hinduism or Buddhism....you will spend your whole life trying to find peace and happiness and then hope that when you die you will reincarnate into a higher level....and then do it all over again and again... in hope that one day you will reach the plain where you do not need to reincarnate. And endless struggle...
Islam is just a distortion of Judism and Christianity....a false religion based on the visions and dreams of a man who was having a mental breakdown. .... study and learn the truth... Mohammed threatened to kill himself because he could not stand the visions...
I have done a thoroug study on all of these. Unitarians are "Christians" who do not believe in sin or heaven or hell. They are a man made version of beliefs that have misled many from the truth. They appear as innocent loving and all accepting, but they are not Biblical.

Well, are you theistic, monistic, or what? Theistic, Islam or Christianity. Monistic, All eastern religions, but mainly the Integral Spirituality of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. Buddhism and Hinduism are nice but Nirvana is a nice state to be in, I've been in it before, but why not bring the divine unto the world you live in right? Therefore Aurobindo is the best for you. It just depends what goal you wish to accomplish within your life.

I have a book called the Encyclopedia of Cults and New Religions. This book will help you to pick out what you would like to be. But I suggest you read the book of John In the Bible. Then choose what you want to be. Religion will send you to hell, but a personnel relationship will help you get to heaven.

try the book "Religions in America" by Leo Rosten.
It is an unbiased collection of various religions as defined by representatives of the corresponding religion.
This side by side work really will enlighten those that want to take an honest look at the many religions in the US.

None are right. Gods don't exist. Of course, Unitarians don't require belief in any god. You don't need it, though. Better to just drop it all and be an atheist.
