I have to take peg-intron and rebetol medicine for my hepatitis. After my insurance i am still going to have to pay over $2000 for one month of medication. Was wondering if anyone knew of something else to do?

Call the drug manufacturer. Lots of times they will give medications to those who can't afford it.

You will need to contact Roche's Pegassist 1-877-734-2797 or Schering-Plough's Commitment to Care 1-800-521-7157. They go by income and you will have to download a form and get your doctor to sign it, then give them some info from your tax return. Many of the people in our support group get free meds. Good luck.

I have asthma and my meds are horrible in price. I have started getting mine from Canada druggists for way cheaper. If you want to message me off Answers tomorrow I can get you the link that I use. It's in my office, though, and I'm at home. Drugs are EXACTLY the same, packaged a little different, but MUCH cheaper.

I am in advanced stages of c and need the medicine interferon or whatever they give you scared for mym lfe and cant find anbody to help cause im just some f**king junkie. so if you find any way tell you should be able to get me a message through answers.Please.

I take alot of medication and even with my insurance the co-pay each month is still alot of money so I started going through medco and getting a 3 month supplie for the same cost of one month it saves us alot of money
