I'm back journal! just this blind old man, living in the same 2 story house, sadly still alone.a nice lady came by yesterday, it took me a while to find the door, though."
hmm...whas wrong with this? i made it up and its the easiest thing ive ever seen. (that was the biggest clue!)

First of all, it really doesn't make sense...
You said that a nice lady CAME BY, as in, to his house. And you put "it took me a while to find the door" which is inaccurate since the lady is the one coming to his house, not him visiting the nice lady's house.
But the thing wrong is that he is blind, he cannot see the door even if he wanted to, he cannot read, he cannot write, and he can't tell if it was a lady or not.

hummm the "I'm back journal!" he may have been recording his thoughts so he doesn't need to write them down. there is no reason he couldn't live in a 2 story house. i guess there is no way to certain if she really is a woman without a DNA test. and the "it took me awhile to find the door". he'd been living in the house for sometime so it would seem her being a woman and couldn't find the door
