If all you're doing is playing tennis once a week, that isn't enough exercise. Start walking 15 minutes every day & build up to 30. Do a power walk, really pump your arms and legs.

Don't eat any junk food at all. No fast food. Eat meats, veggies & fruits and drink lots of water. Snack on fruit, nuts of veggie sticks.
You'll start to lose more weight that way.

Do you play tennis once a week? You may need more activity. If you eat more than you exercise, then this will put weight on. Do you spend time on the computer more than being active outside? Are you inside more than outside? It just may be as simple as that, more activity needed and cut back on foods at night, this is when it really is harmful for weight gain.

Sometimes it's not how much you eat, but WHAT you eat. Even if you are not eating junk food, you may be eating food high in calories without realizing it. Keep track of what you eat everyday. A good place to do that is fitday.com. Also, go to obesityhelp.com. They have many diiferent forums there where you can ask questions.

Good Luck!

My heart goes out to you - I have had this problem for several years. Even went to the doctors with a computer program of all the food I had eaten and exercise. She told me to join Weight Watchers - I fired her!

I have increased my exercise and I feel better and I threw the scale away.

Good Luck

It is not what you eat it is how and when. Just try to do some more exercise and eat lots of vegis. I lose weight on and off when it is coming off it is when I am in good spirits so keep your chin up and you will do fine.

If you are as careful about what you eat and are as active as you say, it may be possible that its a genetic thing. If you're really concerned about it you should talk with your doctor and see what he has to say.
