How do you wrap your hair around more of your hair to make a ponytail??? and make it actually stay in???

just put your hair in an actual pony tail and then take one strand out. wrap that strand around the hairdye and pin down with a bobby pin or just stuff it into the pony tail, and there you go!

The first answerer beat me to it, thats basically what i was going to say. Put it in a pony tail, except for little section at nape of neck. Take little section of hair and wrap around pony, tuck into elastic or bobby pin/clip.
