Not shure exactly?

My guy friend sent me an email this morning and told me we should hang out more, he's not a real close friend but today he walked me to my 2nd period and told was just chatting and complimenting me.... he has never done this before. Is he just being friendly? Or more? and if so, how do i go about telling him i like him back if i am wrong without making things awkward?

It could be that he likes you..... or if it's the beginning of the school year, it could be that he really needs to connect with some of his friends-- you know how sometimes you just find yourself a little lonely, so you make an effort to connect with good people? He could just be doing that.
SOO... I suggest that if you like him, you might want to feel this situation out a little before making it known to him. You can drop very subtle hints, like being more flirtatious-- smile right at him, and look into his eyes a little more. If he does like you, then this will encourage him to let you know.
If you send small but consistant messages that you are "open" for what he has to say, and he still doesn't make a move, then you should hold your tongue.
For two reasons: 1) if he just want to be friends then you letting him know that you might like him as more could change things.
2) If he DOES like you, and he won't say anything, it could signal that he's not mature enough to take the risks involved with being in a relationship.....if that's the case, don't give up, just remain accepting, and then when he comes around, you'll both be ready.

In the meantime, doesn't it feel soooo good to have someone go out of their way to spend time with you--either as friends or more? Good for you.

just spend more time with him, flirt and maybe suggest a date ... like on a friday night and make your hand bump into his a few times ...
