Matthew 24:36 "Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the son but only the Father"
We do not know an exact time when this wicked world will be destroyed but we can look to Bible prophesy to get an idea. For example 2 Timothy 3:1-7 gives of specific things to look for that would prove we are in the last days. I'm sure you will agree you see the evidence of these things around us everyday. Yes some people say that these things have always been this way, I disagree. I graduated high school in 92, I thought the drugs sex and disregard for authority was horrible then, now I can't believe just how bad it has gotten since then. Remember older people talking about living in a time when they didn't even have to lock their doors? I can't imagine that. Things have gotten worse people try to deny it because they don't like to think about changing their lifestyle or what will happen to them if they don't. Matthew 24:6-14 is another good place to read. You can see from these verses mentioned that really the end is much closer than so many want to believe. Take the time to research and see what you believe for yourself and then do something with your knowledge.

Please read second Thessalonians chapter 2 verses 1-5. There are a very few prophecies left to be fufilled but this could happen in rapid sucession like a line of dominoes falling together. We are definantly in the "beginnings of sorrows" that Jesus spoke of in Matthew chapter 24, and based on what I see of many peoples opinions on spiritual things there is no doubt that we are living in the same sort of timeframe that Noah lived in (note Matthew 24:36-39) Noah preached for approximately 120 years and only eight people listened. Throughout the bible God gives signs that will be fufilled before Jesus returns to set things in order. Most of those signs have been fufilled. I personally am watching for Israel to rebuild the tempel and return to the Old Testament type worship. When this happens the end of civilization as we know it will be very near the end although this present rock that we call home will last another 1000 years before it gets burned up and God replaces it with a new Heaven and a new earth.

Well, that depends on what you mean by the world coming to and end and what you mean by soon.

The world will not come to an end until it is thrown into the lake of fire, after the 1000 year reign of Christ.

As for the End Times, the return of Jesus, and the end of the world as we know it.... Jesus said that He is coming soon. That was around 2000 years ago. Yes, He is coming soon, but we don't know what 'soon' means to God.

Sorry, I don't know when things will happen. I do feel that we are entering a time when the world stage is set for the End Time prophecies to be fulfilled, but people have been saying that for a very long time. The world went through the Dark Ages and still the end did not come, so I don't know.

No, that's retarded Fundamentalist fear mongering and nothing more! People have been predicting the "end of the world" for thousands of years and if they were all wrong, why would someone be right this time?

Despite hearing about it all the time Fundamentalist Christianity and their Revelations inspired doomsday events, including the Anti-Christ from "Omen," and other nonsense was only invented in the late 1800's! Yes, before that, and all other Christians still today, think that Revelations is just a metaphor.

So quit worrying and spreading misdirected purposeless helpless fear!

I think the world as we know it will end soon.
Because of Bible prophesy that is quickly coming to pass.
Jesus said that the generation that saw Israel come back together as a nation would not pass away before the second coming of Christ.

No. I wouldn't be so lucky as to get raptured away without having to find myself a job and live a productive life in this crazy mixed up world where the people who look after our children get paid less than the people who bury us when we're dead.

The prophecies finally fit, and in our generation.
I do believe in my lifetime, it will come.
If not, it will occur during my childrens lifetime.
We are in the last days of this system of things.

2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
