You need to go to a lawyer an file a statment to protect yourself. Then you need to report it to the proper authority ...because the other employees know that you know and even though you don't participate in the crime...knowing the crime is occuring and not reporting it is a crime.
and if these people are stealing from this company...then they are unscrupulous enough to take you down with them if it will help them in any way.

Don't think for a minute that the billion dollar company's are rich because their stupid, they just play dumb because few buck here and there is small change for them, they wait until they identify every one involved and it's enough stolen goods to make it a Federal case so to make an example of them to other workers,my personal advise is snitches are the scum of the earth and the bosses will say "oh thank you for the info you saved us money and your colleagues will see you differently and behind your back say we can't trust this one,i think you should turn your head for free and gracefully bow out before it's to late, you know innocent people do go to jail and remember adults end up on milk cartons for a reason so make sure they know it's all good it 's not my stuff your riping off i don't care i just don't what to be implicated and also remember the code of silence when the *h*t hits the Federal fan" I plead the fifth"...

tricky situation, nark and there might be repercussions for you, don't and run the gauntlet of being sucked into it or worse them getting you fired so they can continue doing what there doing.
It sounds like your moral compass is getting the better of you, which isn't a bad thing, It just means that you cant keep turning a blind eye all the time. In all honesty Id go to the top or near to the top of the corporation and spill the beans. Gain enough evidence to incriminate all who are involved and then with the company behind you go to the police.
You conscious will be clear and hopefully you will still be able to work for the company. you may want to move on after the dust has settled because their will be fallout if you know what I mean.
good luck!

at 5000 to 40000 a week you could fire 100 people and retrain them with a new policy that doesnt allow theft. Hire private security to act as employees to find out who is stealing and what.
This is really a no brainer, go to your higher ups and tell them whats going on. Dont be a hero and get a theft ring on you, but alert the right people to do it.

Well first off is there anyone that you can go to that is higher up than the people doing the stealing? Also do you have proof of your aligations? If you do then I would go to the cops or maybe even the FBI. I hope things work out for you. Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

not sure what you should do.
you want to keep your job, yet you are inclined to be honest
I have faced these sorts of situations in the past.
Maybe if you have kids and or REALLY need to keep your job, don't risk anything. Maybe even take the silence money. It will at least keep the theives you work with from suspecting you. Do you like, trust, communicate with people who are higher up in management? If so , and you think maybe you could risk it, then consider telling, otherwise no. Probably don't. I was 7 layers down in the hierarchy at Digital and 9 layers down at Xerox. I wouldn't have risked it, unless I won the lottery or inherited a bunch.

Go to the head of security for the company and explain the situation, and offer to help. You need to get a handle on this, because you WILL lose your job at the very least if you don't. You may also be implicated in a conspiracy and be prosecuted.

One of the best way to report such activity is become a anonymous tipper. 1) send emails from a account to all the top management team with names of people.. 2) contact your local News station and get in touch with a reporter. They have ways to go under cover. a journalist would do anything for a great story specially a juicy one like this

Never take the money. Get them suide. If you take the money they bribe you to get then you will get suide when autorities find out. However; if you turn them in then they will loose their job and a lot of money. Then someone might come after you. This is too much of a big deal to handle on the internet. You don't want to sign your own death warrant if you turn them in. So quit and get as far away from the business as possible. You don't want any trouble

This is a hard one since you say some higher up people are involved. You have to make sure who you go to you can trust. What if you left an anonymous letter to someone in a main office and let it go from there?
