Because believing that Jesus existed - brings them to a place of decision. "What will you do with Jesus, who is called the Christ"
What will your answer be?
Accept Him as Your Saviour and Lord
or reject Him.
You get to choose!
But,
Where will you spend eternity?
Jesus is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
He is waiting for your decision today.
Behold, now is the accepted time, Behold, now is the day of salvation.
God lovingly waits for your decision.
Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in with Him, and sup with Him, and he with me. Revelatin 3 v 20.

Why would anyone fake the existence of Julius Caesar? The idea of Jesus has created a massive cult following, and I'm sure many people have greatly profited from the very concept of a living god. Caesar is not worshiped, nor did he have a lasting impact on today's society. It wouldn't make sense to have faked his existence.

To date, there are NO facts to prove the existence of a historical Jesus. There are many records that document Julius Caesar. I'm not saying that some will never be found, just, that so far, they haven't. It's sort of an open question with no real evidence either way.

Because there are thousands of reliable, corroborating sources and bits of evidence for Julius Caesar. There are only two bits of evidence for the existence of Jesus, and they have both been debunked. Modern biblical scholarship makes a very compelling case for the idea that Jesus never existed... that he was, in fact, entirely fictional.

There is enough evidence to believe they both existed, but actually Caesar left a lot more. Not least, Caesar wrote a detailed autobiography about his long and mainly successful military career, whereas the Gospels are hearsay and spin written decades after Jesus's ministry.

Not to be mean.....but can you provide any proof to your statement?
Other than the Bible, what proof, if any, is there of the existence of Jesus?
And does that outnumber the proof that the great Julius Caesar existed?
I'm gonna take a stab here, and say no.

I think Jesus has a lot more followers the Iulius Caesar now, though there was the Cult of the Emperor post Augustus. Also, its easier to believe in Iulius' conquest of Gaul than some guy turning water into wine, healing lepers and stuff. The latter requires faith, and underpins all religion.

Both these men existed, historically. Jesus is mentioned in other documents besides the Gospels. Also it must be remembered that oral memory was very very common as not many people could read or write in those days. We do not depend on our oral/aural memories today because we can consult written text. So........... facts, stories etc. would be passed down very accurately but by mouth. There would be some discrepency/embellishment from some quarters I am sure but on the whole accurate re-telling was important to the Jews. When the gospels were written (not that long after Jesus death) they were written by scribes, usually dictated to by these speakers. It is what Jesus stands for that people find difficult to believe in, not whether he lived or not. But to have such an influence on millions and millions of people for over 2000 years must say something pretty loudly in itself!

LOL!!! Julius Caesar definately existed and so did Jesus...Unless you believe that the government just made up history to control our minds...There is more recorded history for Ceasar because of his military conquests and achievements....But jesus is also recorded in history, in more sources than just the bible. Even if you don't believe in his teachings he still was able to influence a lot of people and made a big impact on the world. Not only do we know Julius caesar existed but we have detailed accounts of his life....Jesus is a just sum1 who stirred up a lot of dirt and pee'd off the Roman Empire in other sources than the Bible. (not meant to offend anyone)

I think it depends on your definition of fact, I not aware their are any facts that prove Jesus was born, only faith, not aware of any facts that Mary had a Virgin birth.
Julius Caesar on the other hand left documentation which prove he existed behind him.
