I think you might be talking about Intelligent Design.
I enjoy that theory. I can really see a place for both God and Evolution. After all, we do not know how long a "Day" is for God. A day might be a millennia.
Good luck with this.
EDIT-After I answered, I read the other answers, and I went and checked out Deism. I found a website that made me go hmmmm..it is my last link.

Theistic evolution : God started the original life form, and then guided in its evolution. Evolutionists react more vehemently to this than to creationism. Creationists also hate this position because it limits the power and goodness of God.
In my opinion, this is the worst of the three possibilities: creation, evolution, theistic evolution. It's a compromise; straddling the fence.

I believe this is called Deism but i could be wrong. As some people posted their answers to your question with little knowledge of outside explanations than the ones they believe in are the true "Morons". Setfreejn836 for example.

The Catholic Faith actually finds little trouble with religion and science getting along. Maybe the word you're searching for is ..."Catholic"?

If you believe in God and evolution, you're not a Christian/Catholic because then you'd be contradicting yourself.
