Bar in HEBREW is clarity, Clear, Purity.

Bar in ARAMAIC is "Son of".

This is why in Hebrew "Ben" is Son of and Not "Bar". Bar has a completely different meaning depending on the LANGUAGE used. You asked what does Bar mean in Hebrew, not what Bar means in Aramaic. While both are similar related languages they are NOT the same and many words do not carry over between the two.
