One of the symptoms most often associated with an infestation of head lice is excessive itching or scratching of the scalp. If you suspect your child has been exposed to lice in school, you can search his scalp for signs of lice. These tiny creatures are typically about the size of a sesame seed, and are of a brownish color.

I finally got rid of my head lice thankfully, so I know what it looks like and everything like that. Well they are small bugs. Some are white, with blood on their ends. (They bite your scalp for blood) Your head will be very itchy. You might see some white eggs in your hair also. If you wanna know the difference from dandruff and eggs: Eggs are sticky, they don't come out very easily. They are also round. Dandruff is small flakes. Just to make sure, I think you should go to the doctor, or visit your local pharmacy to see what they reccomend. Good Luck, and hope you don't have them. ^_^

skin crawling feeling. mild to severe feeling of being bitten at the back of the head. Nearly microscopic white items stuck to hair (not loose like dandruff) Have a relative check to be sure, or a nurse. Comb with a fine tooth come over a sink, and see if something small starts crawling...sounds gross, but you will have found adult lice.

You need to have someone check you head. Are you itching alot? Do you see any visible bugs?
Not sure if you do or not but you got me itching over here now.

small insects on your scalp.....no...really....and itching at the tops of head, and little see thru white/yellow itty bitty eggs that attach close to the roots, and can be hard to brush. DUDE- have someone check your head ...dam

if you are scratching your head often you could have lice

If there are lice in it, you have lice.
