greys are a pain in the butt to color - been dealing with it for years! i use garnier nutrisse - seems to last the longest. unfortunately, the little grey buggers seem to lose their color before the rest of my head, but it's not a big deal - i dye similar to(maybe a little darker than) my real color so when i have to touch up, it's pretty easy. i color every 4 weeks or so. if you're dyeing lighter than your natural color, it shouldn't be an issue - greys should just blend, and you shouldn't need to touch up as much, if your your new color is way different than your normal color, see a pro.

Over the counter products do not have a high percentage of peroxide and are not always able to cover very resistant grey hair. I would suggest you see a professional hair colorist who can formulate a color that will give you the grey coverage you desire.

Go to a beauty supply store and ask for a product that softens gray hair to use before you apply the color.

hi, why would you want to dye your hair anyway? gray hair is very attractive and gives a person a distinguished and sophisticated look.
don't dye it! keep it squeaky clean and enjoy it!
