Look around tail light and head light for chips if you see a chip look and see if the paint is the same color as the car if it is deff you no it is a replacement part or have been repainted same on door panels or at the bottom of the doors this is good places to look for repair work get a magnet go around fender or the hole car if the magnet dos not stick to metal it has got body filler in it. i hope this helps

Law requires that it be revealed to a buyer.

If in doubt have a mechanic look at it. Any welds will be visable to him. They are often concealed with grease and dirt.

Most usable wrecked cars are sold as wrecked cars by independent dealers, with full disclosure.

Check with your state laws.

Look closely at the seams and where the hood lines up crack should be the same everywheres look at all four corners closely hood should line up also trunk and doors.
