there are "christians" on here who are telling me they believe in an all powerful god and they support whatever happens in his name.... ie, 911. isn't that horrific that someone who called themselves christian thinks 911 was okay on spiritual grounds.
are they not as bad as the bombers of london, madrid, bali and more?

We are not asying that we think what happened was right. We are just saying that what happened had to have happened for a reason. God does things for a reason. And the killing of those innocent people had to be for a reson. God makes things happen for a reason. I am very madt o see how many people think that just becuase 9/11 happened that God is a very bad person.

You have been miss-informed.

Please consider re-writing your question...too choppy. Honestly, it's not understandable.

Sorry.

I will try...

Yes, I do believe in an all powerful God, He is the living God of the Torah and The Old Testament (Holy Bible). He seeks us out for a relationship with Him. How cool is that?

The people behind the 9/11 murders were NOT Christian. They were Muslim. ((Ironic, they were suppose to be devout Muslims, why were they in Hooter bars the night before their flights?))

God didn't cause this to happen. This was the enemy...not God.

The living God is a loving and righteous God. Only good things come from Him. This evil work is of the enemy. There is an evil spirit over the people who not only planned this but carried it out.

How could anyone ever think the living God would take innocent lives like that? That's warped...and a great lie from the father of lies!

John 10:10 the thief comes but to kill, to steal and to destroy...

The thief is the enemy.

Again, you are miss-informed.

The Muslims (terrorist) were also behind the bombings in London, Madrid, Bali and many...many more.

What's your point, that you are confused who Christians and Muslims are?

Christians don't have suicide and homicide bombers.

Christians think life is precious and priceless.

Anyway...I hope you find the grace of the living God and His Son Jesus!

I am one who said I support God. Bad things happen, to good and bad people, that is part of living on this earth unfortunately.
I don't support what happened, I think it is very sad all those people died, I think it is very sad the men who carried it out were so far away from knowing right and wrong.

You must not believe in God or have any faith in Him or you would not have such a hard time accepting things that happen.

No one has said it was OK, or that it was not a horrific tragedy. We cannot change what happened, we cannot make people NOT do bad things.

I am a Christian, and I can tell you this is because of idiotic preachers who believe that all the terrible disasters are judgments by God, that we deserve 9/11, Katrina, etc. These people are fools, they are as lost as a goat in a hail storm. If these are judgments, then why hasn't God wiped out Washington, D.C., the largest group of hedonists live there, or wipe out Vegas, or all the IRS buildings.

I wasn't happy about it, but instead of dwelling on WHY it happened (BTW: I say it happened b/c one of the many groups of people who hate the USA decided to DO something), I chose to think about how to help.

No they aren't as bad.

They just aren't that educated.

9-11 didn't happen in Gods name.

It happened in the name of the devil.

no cause and effect, they are not the cause of it, there for they cannot effect it. Only God has the power to intercede, and he felt that it was not time.
