I believe it is. A hairdresser told me it contains to much silicone in it. This makes it shine but also adds layers of chemicals to your hair. My husband and sister have used Pantene and VO5 and both say their hair started to fall out. But my husband is going bald regardless, and my sister just had a baby and hair loss is quite common after birth. Was it a coincidence? Or do the layers of chemicals weigh the hair down causing it to fall out. It will be interesting what other readers have to say. Good question, I'll keep my eyes on this one.

All shampoo has wax in it to a certain extent. But Pantene has a lot more and it feels good at first and then builds up making your hair worse so even though other brands do have it, they don't suffocate the hair like Pantene does.

Well, this is my opinion and I'm not a hair expert...but hair is dead except for the roots. I think anything that makes your hair look the way you want it to, is fine as far as shampoo's and conditioners go. Pantene proV has wax in it which can build up and make your hair dull. You may get great results for a while, but if your hair starts to look droopy or dull, you may have to switch to another brand for a bottle or two, to get the build up out.
For me...I have very thick, frizz prone hair. It works fine for me...but if your hair is fine or straight, you may not have the same results.

Pantene Pro-V supposedly has a higher alcohol content than other shampoos all though I don't really know how they gage that. I have never liked Pantene Pro-V personally, I don't think it's all that great. Have you tried Herbal Essences?

I've never had good luck using Pantene ProV on my hair. It always felt greasy and weighted down after I used it.

I've never heard that. For me all shampoos work the same. I don't really ever see a difference. I don't think that it's true and It can't be that bad, because a lot of people buy it and don't have a problem with it. If you use it and don't see a problem, then keep using it. If you do see a problem though, then try switching shampoos.

Yes. I used Pantene clarifying shampoo, two whole bottles worth. My hair was very weighed down, lacked movement, and just felt like it wasnt getting very clean. Once i ran out of the second bottle, i purchased Rusk brand clarifying shampoo. The very first time after i used the Rusk shampoo, I noticed little pieces of stuff all in my hair and i was freaking out because i thought i had dandruff. By like my fourth time using the Rusk shampoo though, most of the dandruff looking stuff was gone. I told my salon what happened, and she said that Pantene is soooo bad to use because they actually use something in all of their products that is kinda like tar, that is supposed to coat the hair and make it shine. Well, it eventually builds up and coats the hair in a tar like mess, and that was what the little pieces that looked like dandruff were in my hair. Gross!

There are many methods to make our hair grow faster, shine , glitter in natural ways without using chemicals. Learn here https://bitly.im/aOlK1 Men, and sometimes women, notice that their hair is thinning prematurely for several different reasons. Age, menopause, pregnancy, genetics, illness, and other factors all play a role in hair loss. Sure, you can use drugs or you can go in for a hair transplant or fusion, but sometimes the easiest, most inexpensive solution, is to try to stop hair loss naturally.

I heard that it was bad for you hair too. I got that info from a hair dresser. They put some kind of wax in it to make your hair shiny but it can make your hair fall out too. Too much vitamins in the scalp can cause your hair to thin out and baldness in certain areas. If you use it, you might notice that your hair comes out. Mine did. I stopped using it. The best thing for your hair is mild gentle shampoo, like baby shampoo or a clear type that doesnt have all those chemicals. Your hair makes its own natural oils and vitamins if you take care of it. But if you wash it to death or use too many chemicals and styling agents, it can be worse. Remember...less is more.
