I don't think I have ever, ever, laughed when a person has farted, be it myself or someone else. I just find it disgusting, and I'm male. Do you think I'm too uptight?

Cuz PePe Lay Peeeeewwwwww doesn't always leave the most flattering of scents..I think if you are going to do it..you should be out of range of others to be polite. But then again.. I've walked in a cloud I didn't appreciate that either at the local grocery store.

i pose the question is it funny to walk into the bathroom after someones does #2 lets say after mexican food and take a big whiff, i think not. I totally agree with you, it is not, now or ever been funny to me, if i wanted to smell poop i will stick my head up that persons butt. I think it is refreshing to hear a man not go along with the guys on this..........poop is not funny.

No. The reason that it's funny to some people is because they are uncomfortable with it. Their discomfort has to be expressed somehow, so they express it with humor. More mature people realize that it's a common experience and really nothing to be uncomfortable about.

Sometimes it sick, and other times its funny.
One thing I can't stand is a woman farting...now that's disgusting. Grandmas are excluded, now that's funny.

No for unless it is really accidental for a person to just do it aroun someone else is more than just bad manners-piggish manners.
Bodily functions of that type are not to be shared but are meant to be private. People who just do it not only have no manners but also no respect for those they expose to their foulness.
