Only those that understand that this is Spiritual and not the "natural" world in which we speak...will understand this...or "get it." :o)
Isaiah 54:16-17:
16 I have created the blacksmith who fans the coals beneath the forge and makes the weapons of destruction. And I have created the armies that destroy. 17 But in that coming day, no weapon turned against you will succeed. And everyone who tells lies in court will be brought to justice. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from me. I, the LORD, have spoken!
Remember when we fight...it is spiritual and not against flesh and blood. It's the in the Spiritual realm where these battles take place. Eph. 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
God / Jesus ROCKS!!!

If that were true today, a Christian could withstand nuclear war. Unless of course there are no true Christians?! Isaiah was written for the Jew not the Christian. The Lord said that the soldier does not care the sword in vain. The Lord said that no one comes before the Father but thru Him. I believe this verse was an encouragement of the tribe of Abraham to go out and create war against the other 11 tribes.

Yes, and here in lies the mystery....Who really belongs to the Lord?
You think it is this group following the wide road of Christianity rather than a narrow path that Christ talked about?

This is to us. (Christians) Our God and Savoir is saying that no weapon will succeed us. Like anyone who will try to beat us down for being true to God and for standing upp for Him. Then it says that everyone who speaks against us (God's children) will be punished by judgment when Jesus comes back to Earth to save His true follows.
And then says that we are the servnts of God and that we inherit his righteousness. Which means that He's a just God and a loving God who is true and good.

Yeah, but the same Isaiah tells us, in 45:7 (KJV):
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, AND CREATE EVIL: I the LORD do all these things."
So ... whom do I condemn???

Essentially, it teaches that evil will not always appear as successful as it does today... that eventually, they will not "prosper" any longer, and that all those that speak falsehoods about Christianity (and Christians) will be condemned.

It means that what ever comes against you as you serve God will come out for your good.
It also means that when a Christian is verbally attacked, lied about, criticized, he/she will be shown to be Righteous in God. God will deal with those who mess with His Children.

The key words here are "in judgment".
No matter what becomes of us in the physical realm of existence, if we choose to follow him, God will preserve our immortal soul from eternal damnation.
