We are all going to die one day...how do you comfort yourself for that day? I'm scared sh*tless but don't know how to live life without living in constant fear about it.

A couple of wise sayings are in order here:
"The brave only die once; cowards die a thousand times"
"I am not afraid of death, but I do fear dying"
I, too, wonder about dying (will it be violent or just going to sleep as my mother did 2 weeks ago), but I know because of my faith in Jesus, that I will be alive in Heaven.

there's no reason to live in constant fear of it since it is inevitable. I'm a little scared....more nervous really just because I won't experience things like I do now. However death is not the point of life. Living is the point of life. You can't truly live if you are consumed with fear the whole time. So ignore it for now and live life for every moment that it is worth. Make the most of it.

It's not normal, not to be. However, I might be a little fearful of it, and I'm not going to get into detail about it, but, if and when the moment comes, I think I'll be willing and able to meet it in peace. Peace. It continues even after death, meaning there is life. I wish I could hug you, explain it, and make your fears go away. But this is something we all have to sort out in our own lives. One at a time.

I'm not scared to die, because I know what will happen in the end. I don't know exactly know, but I got a glimpse. The only thing im scared of is how I will die.
"Let not your hearts be troubled. Trust in God and also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, I would not have told you. When everything is ready, I will come so you may be were I am."
John 14:1-4
Dont be scared.

When death comes, first you feel great trouble, then all this trouble begins to abate and you feel you can cope up with it, later you co-exist with it, finally you feel you enjoy it and you want to go on your way to the end to discover what it is like ... Again you will feel the pleasure of discovery and knowledge.
I had this experience twice, in two accidents. Once I drowned when I was a seven-year-old child and the second I had a hard attack last April.
That was exactly what happened and how I felt.
Now are you still scared of death?
Be positive in your thinking of or about anything, anybody and even death, you will enjoy life and death. Life and death are two faces of one coin.

I think people fear the way they are going to die, more so than death itself. I sometimes get scared wondering when my last breath would be like. So I just try not to think about it. I guess we all have our numbers picked for the day we die. I know I don't want to leave this world in pain, like a fire, or flood or somethings drastic like that. But, the choice isn't really up to us. hope this helped..

One of the greatest misconceptions in the world is death. Death does not represent an end; death is a transition from one plane of life to another. It shouldn't be feared, but revered.

No. Like you said we are all going to die one day ... but if you look at it this way. When we are born we're 1 day closer to dying. Just live you life to the fullest and don't dwell on something that is not here yet... you'll know when it's there so keep your head up !!!!

I for one dont fear death, being a mystic I have had several out of body experiences enough not to be afraid of the after life. Nothing to be afraid of consider the fact that you are returning to whence you came. Just my humble opinion.
