Actually, it's a rental car, with my insurance coverage (not the rental company's insurance). Will my insurance company have to pay for the fixing of the damages?

They usually do, but you're probably looking at paying the
deductible - US $ 250.00 or 500.00

Yes and no, depends on the fine print in the rental contract. There are contracts out there that do not allow you to use your own insurance, it also depends on your insurance, no one can answer a yes or no for sure on this question without first viewing your policy as all companies differ in what they cover. Typically a policy will cover the damage minus your deductible but not always.

It is also going to depend on what state you are located in. Some states pay for it only it you have collision coverage on your vehicle. Some states pay for it under the property damage coverage. You need to contact your insurance agent to see where it is covered. If it is covered under the property damage there is no deductible.

Maybe. But it's subject to your collision deductible, if it's covered. They WON'T cover the loss of rental time, you'll have to pay that yourself.

Also, you'll probably want to contact your credit card company to see if they offer any kind of coverage.
