We have the Army,the Navy and the Air Force. But the Navy has it's own air force and army (the Mairnes.) As the Navy has an air force why does the Navy's army have it's own air force?

In corporate circles it's called "a redundant system" or a failsafe. This way if the Air Force decided to side with one of our enemies in a conflict we'll have the Navy's airforce to protect us from their treachery and vice versa. And in the instance that both turn against us we'll have to use our secret Army Air Force, but you didn't hear this from me. Okay... yes you did.

uuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh....I think there is a question here but really not sure.

I feel the Navy does have it own Air Force. The Marines are a lot different from the Army. Therefore the Navy is in the water. The Air Force is in the air and the Army will be on land. They all wear different types of helmets and the Marines have---

But I don't understand what this question has to do with the rising cost of peanut butter??? I am truly puzzled.

The Air Force used to be part of the Army durring WWI and WWII as the Army Air Corps. It became a seperate entity after WWII.
