I have not been looked at by a guy in forever and its not as if im ugly or anything...i just look kinda young for my age. Last sunday i was a burger king and the cashier guy asked my age....when i told him i was 16 he looked surprised and told me that i looked about 12 or 13. I was just wondering...do guys like girls that look mature or the cute ones? Or do they like tall girls because im only about 4 foot 11

You are OK! Just give it time. You will meet a good guy soon. If you look young for your age be happy because at least when you do get older you will still look young. I am now 37 and guys think I'm in my mid or late 20's. and I'm proud of it!! And as for being 4'11 don't worry my niece is 4'10 and her boyfriend of 5 years is 6'1. He loves her that way (Petite) I'm 5'3 that's not very tall! You may just end up with a 6 footer dude! Good luck!

I LOVE short girls.
Women are like chilli peppers in that the smaller ones are the spiciest. Mmmmm mmmmm!
If you look 12 or 13, though, there probably aren't a lot of 16 year old guys looking. But the ones who already know you probably think you're pretty, and when you're 40 but look 30, then you will have lots of men of all ages looking at you!

You've got nothing to worry about. I'm 6 foot 3 and i just chased after a girl that was 4 foot 10. she wasn't interested in me however, but dang i thought she was cute, it was her perrsonality more than anything that i was after, she was 20 years old, you might still grow some if your only 16, if not consider part of your unique personality, Consider this there is not one of my friends that would like there girl to be taller or look older than they are.

every guy has different views.
but it could be because of your personality, not your height.
i know several girls at my high school that are as tall or shorter than you and they never have problems with guys, self esteem, or jobs.
i'd just keep your chin up and not let your self esteem take a hit! try to be more outgoing and such--but not in such a way that it seems immature.

dont worry the right one just hasnt come around yet. I am 5 foot and not getting any taller. I am married and have been with my husband for 14 yrs he is over 6 foot.

I had the same problem. I am 5' and 23yrs old...My sister is 5'5" and she is 14. Anyway, I think they think you look too young. although some guys like short girls...You will have to wear make-up and maybe cut your hair shorter. (short hair makes you look older)

There are a lot of guys who like petite girls. Do you wear your hair like a little girl or dress like one? Try something different with it.
