a little lemon juice mixed with some honey.
you can take that and add it to some hot tea.
you can also add a shot of whiskey to the tea, or take some of the lemon and honey by itself

Sore throats are usually mild and can be treated at home with over-the-counter remedies available from your local pharmacy. They usually get better on their own, in 3-7 days. It is extra rare for antibiotics to be needed. This is only the case when the sore throat is the result of a serious bacterial infection

these are sore throat treatment and comfort measures

Salt water gargle

throat lozenges

warm drinks

allot of rest

Humidify the air

Echinacea

Normally sore throat is associated with heat building up in the body, so I think there is truly no quick fix but to drink lots of water.

It works for me! By drinking lots of water and gurgling with saltwater, it will remove the sore throat faster but not immediately.

Salt and acid are not good on a sore throat. They only irritate it. Try Chloroseptic spray, lozenges/cough drops, and drinking warm tea.=0)

Hot lemon and honey. But since the salt water didn't work, you might want to find out what you've got.

Good luck!
