I don't, but I don't know, in the end the soliders poltical leanings don't matter.

Having proudly served 12 years in the Air Force I would say this person doesn't know what they are talking about. There are both republicans and democrats, liberals and conservatives, etc. within the military. As a rule politics isn't something that is talked about between people, but I would say that the majority of people are just there because they feel that they have a sense of duty to defend their country.
Also, as a rule a military member is the last person that wants war to occur because they are the first to be put on the line. I just had to add that because I get tired of the people who think being in the military is just for people that want to kill. That is not the case, the reason for being in the military is to protect my country by being a big enough deterrence to prevent conflict.

REAL AMERICANS - DUTY, HONOR and COUNTRY!!!
The only people I met in the US Army were lower to upper middle class and there were hardly any poor people in the Units that I served in. I am a military retiree -
21 years - US Army. BTW, there were a few so-called rich people in some of the units that I served in.
That person IS NOT RIGHT!!!!!

Republicans, Democrats, and Independents serve. Whoever said this is just some moron trying to pin the military as democratic in an attempt to recieve some votes.
Btw, Republicans greatly outnumber Democrats in my unit.
