I just want to encourage you with these verses from the bible...
Daniel 6:5 "Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God."
Daniel 6:10 "Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime."
Daniel 6:22 "My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt."
You would better read all the chapter ( Daniel 6 )..

Father God, I pray that You will defend Gordon, in Jesus Name. I pray that He will know Your overwhelming sense of Your presence, and we ask You to engineer circumstances to rid him of all accusation. Thank you for such who are willing not to be afraid to speak Your Name, and I pray that You will work everything together for good, for Gordon, that what satan meant for harm, You O Lord will turn around for good. Amen

first of all that's against the law for them to call it a crime. he can win if he knows the right laws. my husband joined the army as a wiccan years ago(he is a christian now) but they allowed him to follow his religion belief. he needs to talk to the military Chaplin about his rights. i will pray for the young man though
good luck. i pray he wins a big settlement for this too. violating his freedom of religion

I certainly will pray, however, I need more facts, I believe you may have misstated or there is more to it.

I feel sorry for him, not only is he an idiot for praying for a God that doesn't exist, but he is still probably praying to be freed from praying to a God that doesn't exist.

Um. God is not going to defend him. His lawyer will. But I hope he makes it--as long as it was really just praying and not lynching or something in God's name
