I don't know if you can lose 20# total, but I have been exercising 20-30 min a day and eating Special K 2 times a day (like it tells you to on the box), eating yogurt, pretzels, fresh fruit and veggies for snacks, and eating a healthty (and filling) dinner for the past 2 wks and lost 8#s, but lost an inch around my waist and almost an inch around my hips. Also, DRINK WATER!!! You can email me if you want some exercises.
Also, "scarf and barf" will make you gain weight over the next several weeks from the acid build up and water retention.

Honey it's not healthy to lose that much weight in a month. You'll put it back and more if you do.
The best exercise for losing weight is walking , you start out a little at first , maybe a block at a time and work your way up. Bike riding and swimming are good as well.
Cut back your portions, with 2/3 of your plate fruits and veggies, nothing fried, if possible and veggies without dressing or dips, and the last third meat or some kind of protein.
Remember to drink your milk or get some calicum because you need to fortify your bones.
You can look thinner with the clothes you buy if you're going out somewhere . Tailored clothes, nothing too fitted, empire and a line princess style dresses and tops. Pants that don't emphasize your booty , hips and thighs. You can wear colours in one pallet rather than mixing up patterns. Don't cinch your belt tight , wear a drop waist one if you can.
Hope that helps. But go slow and eat healthy and exercise and you'll lose that weight eventually. Women lose 1-2 lbs a month normally and men 3-5 lbs.

Honey, you could lose that much weight in less than a month, but I wouldn't recommend it, nor would I tell you how. I truly hope that no one else will too.
To do so, is silly, and dangerous to your health
Eat the foods you like, but just eat less of each. Do a lot of walking or jogging.
Drink plenty of water and and eat a lot of whole grains and fruits and veggies. But PLEASE DEAR DON'T TRY TO LOSE WEIGHT
SO FAST. At your age you will burn calories fast with exercise, so don't push your self.

at 13 you do not need a diet,,, you just need to get more activity and exercise in your life. when i say exercise.. i mean sports activities at school. take walks..ride bikes..roller skate. a start is getting off the chair in front of your computer. less t.v. watching. help around the house... planting flowers..lawn...work. watch the soda..(pop) dropping altogether would be great. curtail milk,..but do not get rid of totally,. more fruit and vegetables. no fast food. watch the sugar..and spaghetti and noodles. remember your body has not decided what size you are going to be yet.. so do not go on any wild diets. and remember alot of us think we are fat..but we are not. it is not good to be too thin..no matter what you see in magazines or t.v. you need to be healthy. twenty pounds in one month is a bad choice.

Lower calorie intake eat six small meals a day and exercise at least 30 minutes twice daily. I harder you effort the better your RESULTS!! GOOD LUCK!
