Here! Thought you might like an informative answer:
Not all Christians believe hell exists. I mean, after all, how could a loving God do something so unreasonable and irrational as to have people tortured unmercifully for eternity. Even those who made it to Heaven couldn't enjoy it because they know a loved one is constantly in that situation. Although, there's definately a punishment to be met out for those who reject Christ's offer of salvation, I can hardly understand the reasoning behind people who promote this false doctrine! As a Christian myself, I belong to a wonderful denomination (Seventh-Day Adventists) who are making every effort to clear up the stench caused by "Eternal-hell" promoters. Plz have a look at what the Bible ACTUALLY says about this vital doctrine. Check out this link:
http://www.amazingfacts.org/items/study_guides.asp
Plz click on the topic entitled: "The Good News You Never Heard About Hell"
PS) Heck, if what the "Eternal-Hell" promoters are saying is true, WHO, IN THEIR RIGHT MIND, WOULD WANT TO BE A CHRISTIAN??

Hell is the eternal resting place for all who have rejected God. You have to come to God to ask forgiveness and then live your life according to his will. You can do this simply by asking Jesus to come into your heart and he will give you eternal peace. The book is called Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. BIBLE and I suggest you get yourself a copy and start reading, praying, getting into a church and sharing in Christian Fellowship with others.

That is ignorance, who told you that non-Christians "reject" Jesus? Some fanatic Christians reject God, by rejecting all the other religions, so they figure others must be rejecting Jesus.
God gave you a brain and sole to think, because he wants you to be able separate "right" from "wrong" and "evil" from "goodness".
Use it!

That is what one book, the Bible says. Where is the evidence that that book is correct? Since it was written hundreds of years after Christ and that not even the authors were around at the time it was put together, don't you believe that the men who decided, just plain old men mind you, could have been wrong?!
