Give us more details, please.
Best at what? - A Renault Espace would be useless at a track day, a Caterham 7 useless at carrying 7 people, and neither would be much cop off road.
What part of the world? Most European cars aren't available in America, and most American cars aren't available in Europe.
From a personal point of view, there's nothing available that would make me want to replace my 2003 Renault Mégane 1.9dCi.

Bugatti Veyron is the best car you'll find... the only street legal car that can max out over 250 mph. Only downfall is that you cant possible afford it.

depends on the money you want to spend. I have a 2005 cobalt that's 13 months old with 42,700 miles on it and not one problem for $12,000. Ive had my toyota, honda, and ford and I didn't get good service out of them, but that's me, I tried, I'll stick with what hasn't given me problems, that's General Motors. just find what works for you. no one knows what is the best its, all opinions.
