when you talk to somebody for about 3 minutes each day and today i talked to this person for aobut 6 minutes she went on and on kind of brushed her hand passed her ears and kinda wouldnt look at me but kept talking about her fish that she got and her weekened once i finally asked her to get conversation going. Anyways she hardly could look at me but i maybe got 5 words in i listened as i took the advice of the yahoo answers people. My question is did me flirting with her um did it work i mean um well does it sound like she was flirting with me?

I think she was, like you, trying to learn how to converse with someone other than females, and might have been a bit unsure, and uneasy. Take it slow, and don't worry about getting anything in edgewise.
Clean up your own language skills, and drop the 'um's

the lack of eye contact tells me she wasn't flirting but the fact that she talk to you says that she you did get her attention and listening helped no that she is talking maybe back off the flirting a little and make sure she is comfy with you she may start flirting on her own but for now take it easy continue talking to her and let her get to know you a little bit.... if it were me i would be watching you and forming an opinion about you --the way you treat me as well as others

Yea you got to first base. But it sounds to me like your not sure about girls who get nervous and can not stop talking.
The last gal I was with that did this also closed her eyes and talked and talked so she could close her mind to just her center. so I kissed her on the lips. we lasted five days.
I was too layed back for her.

Sounds like she is overly shy. keep talking to her and let her get to know you. she will come around and open up her shell and let you in. she needs confidence and learn how not to be so shy.
