What a double-standard he has! Oral is not only OK, it's wonderful. You have to have the right partner. My ex-husband used to tell me it tasted weird and he didn't like it but he expected me to do it to him (I wouldn't 'cus it's not fair). I thought it was me and I was just gross even though I shower every day and take care of myself, if you know what I mean. I'm still kind of shy about it after what my ex told me. My husband now thinks it's great and he loves the taste. Says it's like bread and butter pickles. Whatever. It's a matter of preference.

People are all different. I, for example, do not enjoy it when girls give me oral, but I love to perform oral on gals. It may be messy down there so you could try things like showering beforehand and making sure that everything is in balance with your body (make sure you don't have an infection). The female fluids are something that can be enjoyed. But I am sure there are some guys who can't stand them.

Take a shower before and clean it good. Every woman emits their own particular smell, some can be over-powering. It just something he has to get used to.
If he goes down there first in the foreplay, it will be easier for him to get used to, before all of your juices get to flowing.
I wouldn't do him orally unless he does you.
When I taste my wife, I can't stop until she has at least one orgasm. It's a total turn on for me.
I usually get so worked up about doing it, that we skip her orally doing me.

You said the right thing and what I would've said. If he won't do it for you, then you shouldn't do it for him. I don't care what he says. If he has a problem with the smell/taste then get a flavored lube or something. Tell him it's no great picnic when you're giving it to him. If he really cares about you and wants you to be pleased, not just himself, then he'll do this for you.
