LOL Get over it. You and I are living proof that pot does not lead to harder drugs. I have only been getting high for 37 years. I don't smoke regularly now, but sometimes I just feel like a joint would be nice. I have a quarter that has lasted me over a year. You and I remember $10.00 lids.

Thanks man that is all the more reason for me to move to California! Now I know why my dad lives there! I believe in God but I agree with you...most people look down on those who smoke pot. Right again they are VERY MISINFORMED! The government makes more money on pot being illegal than they would if they would rewrite the marijuana stamp act...it would be legal but the law contradicts itself...they knew that before it was passed!

25 years! I hold a job you need a brain for and I've never once felt the need on weed to pick up an axe and slay my whole family! The seeds contain essential to human amino acids, the cloth from the hemp plant is stronger than cotton and you could make a cheap renewable fuel source for vehicles...of course you know all this. Hey even those who believe "the word" have to admit it clearly states that "god" created the herbs on earth for our use! Better than wine anyday!

It's great that you've got three Univ. degrees! For most people it is the great de-motivator! You are a rare breed.

However, smoking is still smoking and it's not healthy doesn't matter what you smoke. The body is still the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Sandy, I believe you hit the nail on the head!

God Bless!

1) I don't believe in God.
2) You want me to believe one source above all others? I hope the degrees weren't in science!
3) Before I moved out, I lived in the place with the world's highest marijauna concentration. I hate the stuff. So you weren't affected - good for you. I lost friends and family to it. The entire area was a complete hole.

But yeah, one person wasn't really affected by it. I guess that makes it all better.

Puh!

Two university degrees, which aren't enough to save my soul.

I used to be a pot head. Being altered and therefore not present for life is a cowardly way to live. This isn't my theory; it's my experience. Because I could not deal with life in any real way, I dealt with it in an artificially induced way...which wasn't dealing, but hiding.

If you want to smoke your green, no one is stopping you. Why seek Christians to sign the permission slip? No Christian worth his or her salt is going to tell you that you are honorable or courageous. Just a frightened child who is precocious enough to get educated and think that this means something apart from God's grace and mercy.

I have to admit I am skeptical that you possess multiple university degrees.

Why do you focus your ire on "godbelievers" rather than the men and women in Congress?

Well, one of your degrees is not in law, because it is illegal in the US to grow marijuana. The US supreme court just made that decision in the past year stating that states could not override federal laws by "legalizing" marijuana.
Secondly, I don't see why you are bringing this debate up in a spirituality section of yahoo answers.
