If she is making you sing off key, then it's making others sing off key. Most Choir members are like sheep. They follow the loudest voice. If one person follows her others will. Tell someone, her or the choir teacher. I know for a fact problems like that don't get better if you ignore them. And as to hurting her feelings, just don't be overly critical. Add in the bit that you go off key too, so you don't sound perfect.

Oyy! I remember a cantor at church that couldn't hold a not to save his life, but he was sure he had the best voice in the world. He certainly was loud, but...
Anyway, in your case, it should be possible to ask to be moved to the other side of the group. Tell the teacher why in private, only if necessary. DO NOT make fun of her or tell your friends what you think behind her back. With training, she can learn to hold a note better. If you are comfortable with her, use a tape recorder to show her what she sounds like. That usually works.

Can't believe your teacher can't hear her too...anyway, tell the teacher, and if the girl isn't removed, stop and say "I can't sing, SHE's all offkey" in front of everyone.Honesty is, after all, the best policy.

Sing off key with her, REAL loud, That way it will get noticed. If anyone says anything say that its not you. Then say you can prove it by having the off key person sing solo vs. you.

That's good practice for teaching yourself how to sing. In my chamber choir we always sing in mixed formation (not with our parts) so we all have to hold our own and don't pay attention to those around us (and pay attention to them at the same time)

I suggest you approach your teacher and tell him that both you and she are having problems so that he will listen to the two of you.

Tell to her to practice with you. Then you can try to correct her without hurting her feelings.
