What is the benefits / disadvantages of iron beds vs. wood beds?? I have to make a purchase soon. Thx.?

Metal will hurt like hades when you stub your foot. It will however, last longer than wood and is easier to clean. One really important thing to remember is this: if you're planning to have any fun in that bed, metal beds tend to squeak A LOT... If you do buy a metal bed, wrap rags or facecloths around the bars that hold up the mattress before putting them in place.

Get a wooden one!!!metal ones eventually warp after a while and ur back will also feel severely warped!!!!wooden ones look (i think) miles better!!!
